The blog, set up after the Art Histories and Aesthetic Practices Travelling Seminar 2015 to Benin and Togo, is now online.

From April 30 to May 12, the Art Histories and Aesthetic Practices Travelling Seminar 2016 titled "The Architectures, Aesthetic Practices, and Arts of Iran" took place. 

From June 23-24, the ARTMargins Annual Workshop entitled "Writing (in) the Margins," organized by the ARTMargins Collective and Art Histories and Aesthetic Practices took place in Berlin.

At the workshop "Sudanese Objects in German Collections," Hannah Baader and the Art Histories Fellows visited the Egyptian Museum and the Zentralinstitut für Kunstgeschichte.

The candidates for the Art Histories Fellowships 2016-17 have been selected. The final list is now published under "Fellows 2016/17". 

The new online format "Conversations in Transregional Art Histories" features multimedia contributions, in which fellows and guests of the program discuss their research topics...

Fellows and staff members of the program Art Histories and Aesthetic Practices regularly contribute articles on the TRAFO Blog for transregional research...
